Oh my god.
Oh. My god.
I just…I can’t.
Thank you so much for telling me this. Oh god. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to function ever again.

See above? That’s the lovely sharksinspace who went to Gallifrey One with her friend Kell and covered their hotel door with #BELIEVEINSHERLOCK & counter campaign posters!

From her lj:
One night, I stuck one of the posters on our hotel room door as we were leaving. People seemed to enjoy it, because all the little tabs at the bottom started disappearing as people came by and took one for a souvenir.
Kell eventually stuck one of her Sherlock posters above mine as well, and we thought no more of it.
One night, we woke up to a knock at 1:30am, and when I went outside to look, another Sherlock fan had left Sherlock-related things on Post-Its all over our door and a trail of arrows pointing to her room. We engaged in a bit of Sherlock tag, leaving notes and stuff on each other’s doors a few times before we met face-to-face.
Our door looked like this afterward

Our secret Sherlock friend had also named our room 221B with a Post-It on top of the door.

We thought it was so funny and enjoyed it so much. I made a post about it on Tumblr and thought that was the end of it.
But this morning I woke up to an Ask on Tumblr from someone else at the convention.
So Toby Haynes, who directed The Reichenbach Fall, was at Gallifrey One and took a picture of this door and posters and texted it to Benedict Cumberbatch. Awesome.
All this shared with permission of course! Original post here.
